On Friday, March 1, there is no school for students. However, eighth-grade students and parents will meet with high school advisory teachers to begin the transition to high school and to select courses for the next school year.

Las Cruces Public Schools is continuing implementation of a transition program for high school registration which will assist you and your child in planning his or her ninth-grade year.  This program, the Next Step plan, combines career interests, academic preparation, and community experiences that allow students to make informed choices about what they plan to do after high school graduation.
