The Las Cruces Public Schools Safe Routes to Schools Program will hold a Family Bike Fiesta from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 27 at Lynn Middle School, 950 S Walnut St.  The family-friendly event, which is open to all students of Las Cruces Public Schools, will include:

  • Bicycle skill building and safety drills for kids
  • Bike Rodeo
  • Learn to ride a bike without training wheels
  • Fix-a-flat (for kids bikes)
  • Minor bike repair (for kids bikes)
  • Recycle a bicycle – donations accepted
  • Bike Blender – earn pedal powered smoothies
  • Bike spa (get your bike nice and clean)
  • Free kids helmets – limited supply
  • Speed race against a radar gun
  • Bike art station
  • Family Bike Ride starting at noon (separate training wheels ride)
