Call for Teen Artists

The City of Las Cruces Teen Chaos Collaboration is an annual art show and will be held February 21 and 22, 2020 in Las Cruces, NM presented by the Parks & Recreation Department.

Teens in grades 6-12 are encouraged to submit art work for display in show.

The show will have live music and the opportunity to see our community’s talent! Prizes will be awarded to best in middle school, high school and sculpture entries.

Deadline for artwork submissions: February 14, 2020.

Artwork may be dropped off at the Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. This is a free community event.

Artist Agreement When participating in “Chaos Collaboration” the Artist agrees that work submitted is their own original art.

When submitting pieces for “Chaos Collaboration” the artist agrees that The City of Las Cruces, its employees, contractors, or any of its representatives will not be held liable for any artwork lost, stolen or damaged.

The artist will fill out a description of the work for each piece submitted (pg. 2). Submit work ready to hang, i.e. matted, framed, plastic wrapped with hangers or the artist accepts the work be hung as is with clips and/or push pins.

Two pieces of art per student will be accepted, however space allowing, additional works may be included. If submitting more than two pieces, please number them in order of preference on the description form.
