On Tuesday November 3, Virgin Galactic’s aircraft White Knight Two will be on a test flight that will pass by Truth or Consequences and Las Cruces. We would like to encourage student participation in this event and have created the attached materials for use on the day of the flight.

The documents will also be available to download from our website at Spaceportamerica.com/education. There are additional STEM videos and activities on there as well.

VMS Eve is due to depart Spaceport America at 8am passing by Truth or Consequences and Las Cruces over a 2-hour period. We encourage teachers/ students to follow the flight paths on https://www.flightradar24.com  flight number VGX3. This will be a unique opportunity to see this aircraft over these cities and a great opportunity to get students outside!

If teachers/parents take any images or videos of children or students watching out for VMS Eve, or have any exceptional artwork or creative writing piece created by students that you would like Virgin Galactic/Spaceport America teammates to see, please feel free to share on your social media channels and tag Virgin Galactic and Spaceport America or you can email us directly at Galactic.Unite@VirginGalactic.com or alice.carruth@spaceportamerica.com. We’d love to share in our community’s excitement to see the Virgin Galactic mothership flying in the beautiful New Mexico skies!
