Sonoma Elementary School is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a special community event that brings together fun, friends, and school pride. Families, alumni, and community members are invited to participate in the All Aboard Sonoma Elementary Express Run, featuring a 5K and 1-mile Fun Run.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 11, at Organ Mountain High School, 5700 Mesa Grande Dr, on the track and field. The race will begin at 7:30 a.m., and participants are encouraged to arrive early.
The day will also serve as a special homecoming opportunity for Sonoma staff and alumni. Former students are encouraged to attend as VIP guests, reconnect with their school community, and support Sonoma’s future.
Proceeds from the event, including donations and sponsorships, will directly benefit important improvements to the school and provide innovative classroom and field trip opportunities. These enhancements will help ensure a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for current and future students.

Stay tuned for more details about Sonoma Elementary’s grand 20th anniversary celebration on April 23. District leaders and Sonoma alumni are invited to a special private reception and campus tour that morning from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and are warmly welcomed to return for the full community celebration from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. that evening.
