The Doña Ana Arts Council congratulates Joseph Flores who will receive the Council’s “Papen Family Award” at the Council’s annual “Community Arts Awards.” The “Papen Family Award” honors an individual who has demonstrated exemplary commitment to the arts through leadership, service, and/or financial support. This award recognizes Joseph Flores’ dedication to and support of our community’s youth as Coordinator for Teaching and Learning, Fine Arts, Las Cruces Public Schools.

Some of the resources available are books, videos, toys, games, visual timers, a color printer for visual supports, a laminator for visual supports, and Velcro. The Autism Library is available to families by appointment. To schedule an appointment, please call the library at 527-6053. Additionally, parents are encouraged to "Like" the Facebook page called "Las Cruces Autism" and "Las Cruces Autism Education at Home" in order to gain access to the most up-to-date information on training opportunities, community events, and parent-to-parent support.
