To be the predominant provider of products and equipment to our students and staff by obtaining cost savings from bulk purchases, streamlining our processes, and evaluating our supply change for efficiency and accuracy, all while maintaining our commitment to customer service, quality and employee safety.

Department information

Materials Management Department, commonly referred to as “the warehouse”, is housed in a 21,000 square foot warehouse located approximately 2.5 miles north of the district office and is composed of two sections: the Logistics Section and the Central Mailing and Laminating Section.

The Logistics Section is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations addressing the mandates of the Educational Plan for Student Success (EPSS), which includes stock inventory control and distribution of office and school supplies, receiving, delivery of goods to end users, the transfer, storage and recycling of surplus property, and the disposition of obsolete, non-repairable fixed assets and other materials.

The Central Mailing/Laminating Section provides high volume, incoming and outgoing mail distribution services. Both U.S. and inter-departmental mail is processed through this section. Distribution is conducted utilizing the department’s own vehicles and personnel.

In addition, the laminating section provides full, no cost laminating services for all district schools and departments.
