Community agencies that provide different resources such as access to showers, vouchers for clothing, shoes, hygiene kits, blankets, toys, and furniture.
Assistance for infants & Young Children
Community agencies that offer emergency resources for families, child care assistance, Big Brothers Big Sisters, WIC, childcare facilities, child care funding, early childhood services, juvenile justice services, behavior health, outpatient clinic, autism program, child care development services, family counseling services for children with developmental delays or disabilities, parenting education for parents/caregivers and health testing services
Food Assistance
Food assistance for LCPS students and district families, hot meals, food boxes, SNAP benefits, senior nutrition program, food pantry, and food bank locations.
Technology Assistance
Information and services for free or reduced-cost used computers (for students, seniors, veterans, and families who qualify for public assistance), free/affordable internet access and phone service (for eligible families)
LGBTQ Assistance
Teletherapy/Virtual group therapy, HIV testing, support groups, LGBT+ programs, advocacy, education, resources.
Medical/Mental Health
Medical and dental health assistance, mental health and behavioral health services, clinical care, home-based therapy, harm reduction, inclusive sport, therapy, grief counseling, telehealth, child advocacy, medication management, Families & Youth, Inc. Services for substance abuse. No patient will be refused services/treatment based on inability to pay
Transportation & Housing Assistance
Transportation services—schedules and contact information. Access to affordable housing, senior living, apartments with subsidized government low-income rates, resources for children exiting foster care, assistance for students and families battling homelessness.
Bill / Utility Assistance
Heating and cooling assistance, emergency financial assistance, Casa de Peregrinos/MV Community of Hope, housing program assistance, financial literacy services, social security administration, cash assistance for tipped workers, COVID-19 relief, and child support enforcement services.
Engage New Mexico Program
For many students, going from a traditional classroom to learning from home can be a real challenge. New Mexico’s Public Education Department has partnered with Graduation Alliance to provide an extra layer of support for students and families who might be struggling with these changes.
