Health and Physical Education

Health/Physical Education

The Las Cruces Public Schools system provides a comprehensive K-12 Health/Physical Education program. LCPS Schools provide Health/PE classes to all students during their elementary and secondary education. The curriculum includes a connection to a foundation of fitness and health through activity based lessons about practicing healthy nutritional habits and personal fitness. The students learn how physical activity and nutritional choices affect their general long-term health and balance of body composition. This knowledge empowers students to make informed decisions about their own fitness and health. The Instruction Department is available if you have any questions, please feel free to contact  Curriculum & Instruction Coordinator at: (575) 527-5889.
