Information Operations and Data
The office of Information Operations and Data is responsible for the collection, validation and reporting of data as required by the state and to outside agencies. Information Operations and Data also provides the Las Cruces Public Schools (LCPS) with timely, accurate, and actionable information for strategic data analysis, general research, and internal visualizations for review of internal programs. Additionally, the department manages the student information system (Synergy), visitor management system, parent communication systems, and assists with data migration and user management between LCPS and third-party software.
Data Team provides campus, district leaders and outside researchers with data related to student performance to gauge progress; inform good decision making; and target assistance for students, teachers, and schools.
State Reporting staff are responsible for the submission of data reported to the Public Education Department.
Information Systems staff are responsible for set-up of systems, training of all district personal on the use of systems and support systems migrations.
