Empowered Parents Academy

LCPS Empowered Parent Academy (EPA) provides the LCPS parent/family and community members with top quality adult education programs in a welcoming and culturally accessible environment. Building a community between our ESL and Spanish language participants by creating opportunities to help each other in the language they are learning. EPA is run by the LCPS Bilingual Community Outreach Department.  EPA works towards strengthening skills in the areas of English language and literacy, High School Equivalency (GED), Technology and a newly created Paraprofessional workshop to help our community join our LCPS family! In addition, EPA focuses on student learning and success, we know the incredible power parents, guardians, and families have, to help their children achieve that success. On May 23, 2023, 90 students received a certificate of participation for the semester of Spring 2023.
