As the 2023-2024 school year ends, Las Cruces Public Schools is preparing for its Summer Meal Program to keep students connected to nutritious meals during the break. The last day of school is Friday, May 31, 2024. Students will be released early according to the following schedule:  

  • Elementary schools, 11 a.m.  

  • White Sands School, 11 a.m. 

  • Middle schools, 12:15 p.m.  

  • Rio Grande Preparatory Institute, 11:35 a.m. 

  • Mesilla Valley Leadership Academy, 11:35 a.m.  

  • High schools, 11:45 a.m.   

LCPS will begin its Summer Meal Program on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Meals will be served at Las Cruces High School, Organ Mountain High School, Mayfield High School, Loma Heights Elementary and Mesilla Park Elementary. Breakfast will be available from 8 to 10 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The LCPS Summer Meal Program is free and open to children ages one to 18.
