Las Cruces Public Schools will begin collecting community feedback on instructional calendar development and will seek volunteer committee members to make calendar recommendations to the LCPS Board of Education for consideration.
Parents, LCPS staff and union representatives are invited to submit their names for the committee, which will have three scheduled meetings in 2024: Oct. 4, Oct. 23, and Dec. 4. All meetings will be held in the Dr. Karen M. Trujillo Administration Complex from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20. Committee members will be randomly drawn from qualified applicants on Thursday, Sept. 26 and will be notified no later than Sept. 27.
