LCPS Grill & Thrill BBQ Competition winners to be announced at game
This Friday, Oct. 17, Las Cruces Public Schools welcomes the friendly football rivalry between the Centennial Hawks and the Organ Mountain Knights under the lights at the Las Cruces Public School Field of Dreams on Tashiro Drive.
Centennial is the home team this year. Fans will park on the west side of the stadium and use the west side gates. Organ Mountain, the visiting team, will utilize the east side parking lot and gates. All gates will open to the public at 5:30 p.m., and the game will kick off at 7:00.
Winners of the LCPS Second Annual Grill & Thrill BBQ competition, hosted by FFA and FCCLA students, will be announced at halftime. The Grill & Thrill competition will take place Friday afternoon at the LCPS Field of Dreams baseball complex from 4 to 7 p.m.
The LCPS Clear Bag Policy will be strictly enforced. Please remember no outside food or drinks are allowed inside the Field of Dreams, including Yeti or Stanley cups. Guests are invited to bring one unopened bottle of water and concessions will be available. Additionally, all ticketing is digital at the Field of Dreams - there are no cash ticket sales. Attendees are encouraged to secure their tickets in advance and arrive early to ensure a smooth entry. Fans who plan on attending multiple games this year are encouraged to check out the Annual Pass option which provides 125 game tickets for the cost of 26 tickets for adults or 18 games for students. Some exclusions apply, please check the LCPS Athletics page for details.
