Online registration and enrollment for new and current students at Las Cruces Public Schools is open for the 2026-2027 school year. Registration opened Monday, March 2, 2026.
Parents and guardians must complete online registration every year through ParentVUE. Online registration establishes your child’s information with LCPS. Parents and guardians are highly encouraged to verify that their contact information and home address is up to date, provide their child’s medical information, request transportation (if needed), and complete all required forms.
Parents or guardians who did not register their child during the 2025–2026 school year must update their child’s student information to continue the registration process for the 2026–2027 school year.
Making sure your contact information is up to date is critical to ensure you receive messages and important notifications from your child’s school.
Required documents for online registration:
• Custody documents (if applicable)
• Proof of residence (tax bill, utility bill or lease agreement)
• Additional documents may be required if your living situation has changed
If you do not have access to the internet or a computer, we welcome you to visit your child’s school to complete the registration process.
Families with students new to the district must create a ParentVUE account. ParentVUE is a secure, mobile-friendly portal that allows parents to view grades, attendance, assignments, and class schedules. Parents will complete online registration through ParentVUE for the initial enrollment of a new student. The same documents required at registration will be needed to finalize enrollment, including the child’s current immunization record.
Parents who are new to the district can sign up for ParentVUE by visiting the Las Cruces Public Schools website www.lcps.net and clicking the “registration” link at the top of the page. The website also offers step-by-step instructions, tools, and videos to help you create your account.
Families who already have a ParentVUE account and receive information from their child’s school do not need to create a new account but still must complete the registration process annually.
