Flashback Friday takes us all the way back to 1928 at Doña Ana Elementary School.
Long before the current campus opened, generations of students gathered together in the historic Village of Doña Ana to learn, grow, and build a legacy that continues today. This photo captures just one moment in more than a century of history connected to Doña Ana Community Elementary School.
Today, the school’s rich traditions continue at its current campus, which celebrated its 50th birthday on May 15. From the original schoolhouse and iron bell to today’s classrooms and students, the spirit of Doña Ana remains strong across generations.
This is Las Cruces Public Schools, then and now.
