LCPS Families,

Due to inclement weather in the area, Las Cruces Public Schools implemented its lightning safety protocol this afternoon at White Sands School, Mesa Middle School and Organ Mountain High School, which required students and staff to shelter in place until conditions were safe. All elementary students have now been dismissed for the day.

As a result of the weather delay, middle and high school bus transportation will be delayed this afternoon.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
