
Las Cruces Public Schools is partnering with the Walmart pharmacy on Valley Drive to provide staff, students and their families with the flu vaccine and the Moderna COVID vaccine.
The clinic will be held at the Operations Center at 505 S. Main on Monday, November 27 from 2-6pm.
Walmart requires health insurance to receive vaccines and does not accept TriCare. For those who wish to receive vaccines and do not have insurance, please contact the New Mexico Department of Health at 575-528-5006.

The battle continues this Friday night as the Bulldawgs' seek redemption against the Hawks for the 2023 Nusenda Credit Union State Football Championships - 6A quarter final. Kickoff is at 7p.m. at the Field of Dreams.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students. Since this is an NMAA sanctioned event, tickets can only be purchased online by scanning the QR Code.


At the request of LCPD, Lynn Community Middle School was placed on lockdown at 3:28p.m. due to police activity in the area. The lockdown was lifted at 3:41p.m. All students and staff are safe.


It was a spectacular day at Hillrise Elementary as we came together for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of a big project! The upgrades at Hillrise include a new multipurpose room with a new cafeteria, the existing cafeteria was remodeled into six classrooms, an expansion of the nurses’ station, and security upgrades to the front office.
This project was made possible by the unwavering support of voters in Las Cruces. Thank you!

Thank you to the team members and departments at Memorial Medical Center that donated much-needed items or monetarily for this year's Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation, Inc. Care Kits For Kids Personal Hygiene Drive.
By providing items to take care of basic personal hygiene needs, we hope to see all students thrive, while building strong peer relationships and having an overall positive school experience.


The Office of African American Affairs, along with the PED and the Black Student Alliance, extends an invitation to Excellence Unleashed, a recruitment fair and mini-conference in Albuquerque on Nov. 18. Transportation is provided. See flyers for additional details.



On Nov. 9, the district will host “High Schools’ Got Talent,” as part of the ‘Kindness in the Community” initiative. The event is free and open to the public. Just remember to bring your own chair.
The evening will include performances from each high school band beginning at 5:30p.m. at Plaza de Las Cruces located at 100 N Main St, Las Cruces, NM 88001.

Safe Routes to School is partnering with Friends of the Organ Mountains and Southern NM Mountain Biking to put on monthly bike clinics for students.
We encourage middle school students (6th-8th) to join us for a bike clinic this Saturday (11-11-23) from 10am-2pm at Sierra Middle. Please see flyer for details.

Last night, LCPS families were invited to the Superintendent's meet and greet to discuss his 90-day plan, educational goals, and concerns. The meeting was held in Spanish, more than 35 parents attended.
