This week, we are proud to shine our Thrive Thursday spotlight on two incredible members of the Tombaugh Elementary School team: Registrar Yesenia Carrera and Head Secretary Olissa Hernandez Hill. At Tombaugh, Yesenia and Olissa are truly the heart of the school community. They are often the first smiles students, families, and staff see when they walk through the doors, greeting everyone with kindness, patience, and care.

Las Cruces Public Schools will provide free breakfast and lunch for all children ages 1–18 from May 27 through July 10 at select school and community locations across Las Cruces.

This week, graduating seniors made their way back to where it all began, their former elementary and middle schools. This monumental moment reflects not only how far they’ve come, but also the exciting journey ahead.

LCPS Families: ParentSquare, the communication platform used by Las Cruces Public Schools, is currently experiencing technical difficulties. Our Information Technology team is working to help restore service, but at this time the issue appears to be on the ParentSquare side.
