Student leaders at Rio Grande Preparatory Institute had an amazing and fun-filled day volunteering at the 2023 Water Conservation Event at Young Park. They supported the city as it hosted 1,500 LCPS 4th graders! Way to go, RGPI!
High School Summer Enrichment Internship Program!
Earn up to $3,000 for the summer! If you're a high student or recent 2023 graduate. Become a Doña Ana County employee! Paid internships will be offered to area students at least 15 years of age. *15-year-olds must have a work permit. Typically, 20 hours per week, not to exceed 200 hours for the length of the program. Please note, all the stations are for the students, but adults, we want you to learn and enjoy with your kids. Everything is first come, first served and while supplies last.
The student council and student broadcasters from Hermosa Heights Elementary spent the day visiting the KRWG news station at New Mexico State University. They learned about the control station, gave weather reports, conducted interviews, and anchored at the desk. Thank you, Hugo Perez and Nick Miller for inviting the Silverhawks to the KRWG studio!
